MIRAMAR BRANDS GROUP APPOINTED AS EXCLUSIVE LICENSING AND MERCHANDISING REPRESENTATIVE FOR HACHETTE FILIPACCHI MEDIA'S METROPOLITAN HOME

 

 

 

(Pasadena, California). Pasadena and Montecito, California based Miramar Brands Group, Inc. announced today that it has been appointed the “exclusive” Licensing and Merchandising Representative for Hachette Filipacchi Media US’s (“HFMUS”) Metropolitan Home brand for North America. The magazine and the newly published book Metropolitan Home, "Design 100" out in October, written by Michael Lassell, focuses on "high-end modern design and interiors blend with intelligent reporting to connect with a progressive reader mindset." Lassell served as features director of Metropolitan Home from 1992 until 2009. Prior to that, he served as managing editor of Interview and L.A. Style magazines, also as a theater critic for the Los Angeles Herald Examiner and L.A. Weekly.  Metropolitan Home was originally published in 1974 as Apartment Life. The magazine ranked among the top in its category before it ceased publication at the end of 2009, to be repositioned by HFMUS.
