AMERICAN BRAND HOLDINGS, LLC. ANNOUNCES MIRAMAR REPRESENTATION FOR THEIR HANG TEN BRAND
Pasadena, California--October 20, 2007—American Brand Holdings, LLC., owners of the iconic surf brand Hang Ten, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with MIRAMAR Brands Group, Inc. (MIRAMAR), a privately-held, Pasadena, California-based company, to engineer strategic US Direct-to-Retail licensing opportunities based on the company’s distinctive brand identity.
The brand, with roots dating back to the early 60's, will combine with MIRAMAR’S success in managing and
leveraging brand equities to provide an exclusive range of licensed products. Stephen Ascher Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MIRAMAR said, "We are truly honored to be working with perhaps the most influencial surf brand that ever existed.
