Stephen Ascher, Jr.
Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer

Stephen Y. Ascher, Jr. has served as Chairman of Miramar Brands Group, Inc's Board of Directors and as its Chief Executive Officer and President since the Company's Founding in June 2004. From November 1997 through November 2003, Mr. Ascher served as Executive Vice President and head of New Business Development for Cherokee, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHKE). As a college senior at The University of California at Berkeley, Mr. Ascher founded the Sideout® brand and from June 1983 until November 1997, Mr. Ascher served as Chairman of Sideout Sport, Inc.’s Board of Directors and as its Chief Executive Officer and President since the Company’s formation. Mr. Ascher is the Founder and creator of the Miramar®, MiramarmarineTM, King of the Beach®, Havuk®, and Sideout® brands.
Mr. Ascher received a Bachelor of Arts degree in international business from the University of California at Berkeley in 1984 where he played Varsity Volleyball as "setter" on two club National Championship teams. For 23 years, Mr. Ascher has been a member of Young President's Organization/World President's Organization (WPO-YPO) in both the San Gabriel Valley and Global One Chapters of WPO-YPO.

Michael Choe
Executive Vice President of Brand Development & Licensing
Michael Choe has over 16 years of international business and licensing experience. In addition to his work with Miramar, Mr. Choe currently serves on the board of MX, India; an Indian BPO based in Ahmedabad.
Over the past five years, Mr. Choe has represented and successfully completed international license agreements for several well-known brands including Joe Boxer and Geoffrey Beene. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Choe served as the Vice President of Business Development for Cherokee, Inc. where he helped facilitate international licensing agreements for Cherokee-owned and represented brands in Latin America and Asia.
From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Choe worked extensively in international import and export where he worked closely with Seiko Japan as the exclusive distributor for several of Seiko’s golf consumer products.
Mr. Choe received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California in 1994.

Stephen Ascher, Sr.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Stephen Ascher Sr. has been with Miramar Brands Group since its founding in 2004. He has served as a Principal and Director, its Chief Financial Officer, as an Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Executive Committee. Previously he was involved with Sideout Sport, a retail clothing manufacturer, since its founding in1984. He engineered its purchase by Cherokee in 1996. Conceptually he has been involved since that sale with the change of the retail clothing business to incorporate retail direct selling, in which Miramar Brands Group, Inc. is now a leading participant.

Kenny D'Aquila
Director of Celebrity Branding
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry, Kenny made his mark as Grantaire in the critically acclaimed production of Les Miserables at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles. Later, Kenny was featured as Grantaire in the International Cast Album of Les Miserables with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. As a writer, Kenny’s first play, Uptown, won 7 Drama-Logue Awards, including Best Play, and was nominated for Best New Play by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. As an actor, Kenny won a Drama Logue Award and a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle nomination for Best Actor. As a Producer, Kenny is co-executive producer of Andrew Lauer’s upcoming The Hill Chris Climbed: The Gridiron Heroes Story. Kenny is also a supporter of private enterprise. His company HuAid, Inc. is a capital acquisition and funding group that assists individual Clients, Companies and Organizations to fund approved humanitarian projects both nationally and internationally.
